What is CAD & why do I need it?
CAD refers to drawings and designs completed on a computer - Computer Aided Design.
Gone are the days of quoting with pencil and paper and hopefully gone too are the days of costly mistakes in measurement, scale and proportions thanks to incorrect and less than precise drawings offered by hand.
Quote times are reduced, as software is very powerful and does alot of thinking - avoiding mistakes and human error, while also helping to reduce the cost of the overall project by ensuring material and labour pricing are factored into the job correctly.
If you are getting quotes for your next project, make sure you get CAD drawings. They not only reduce the mistakes and headaches but they will show you what your job will look like without even beginning production!
